Default 88 CRX rear suspension - "passive steering"?

When I first got my 88 CRX, I read somewhere that it is the only one that has a rear suspension setup that acts like passive steering which makes it more nimble to drive or something. Can anyone shed any light on this?

passive steering effect is part of all the civics in the geometry of the rear trialing arm. the inboard mount to the chassis at the front compensator arm was dialed back a bit after 88, but still the effect of "passive rear steering" is present in all the cars.
