Wait till you see the insurance rates on them though, That is if the insurance companies will give you a policy.
R1's are the most popular bike to have stolen and crashed.
They are enemy #1 to insurance as far as sportbikes are concerned.
But i would take one if it was given to me

To me it looks like any other R1 with a different paint job and a black frame.
Chicks dig slow bikes that sit upright. I've only known one chick who liked having a strained back and wanted to go faster than the century mark.

yah, it's a sweet bike..still hard to top the Ducati's but i do like the new Fireblade...that's a pretty good R1 competitor from honda...still want a GSXR1000 though...*drool*...

Ducati sucks. . . handling sucks and too expensive to think . . .the fireblade is not going to be a production bike last time I heard. . .could be wrong though. . . .R1 rocks. . .I had an R6. . . sold it. . . I miss it. . . insurance was giving me the chorizo int the butt.. . .M/24/clean record=170 a month!!! *******.
