I have a '99 Si with the greddy kit and a Blitz BOV. I'd like to switch BOVs, and i figure the easiest way to do it would be to buy another aluminum intake charge pipe and install teh new BOV on there. That way I can either switch back if i don't like the new BOV, or even sell the whole BOV+pipe combo.

Greddy refuses to sell another pipe, saying that I need to buy a new kit. Does anyone know where I could go to get a custom pipe made? Would a respectable machine shop be able to create a new identical aluminum pipe if i give them my old pipe to compare to?

Hell you're in CA shouldn't be that hard to find a fabricator. Call up SFP, south florida performance. http://www.sfp.net

Well I mean it's apparent you haven't looked to find one in CA, there almost has to be one there, so just throwing out other options.

Actually I haven't started looking yet, it's more an issue of what kind of shop to look for. Do i want to talk to a muffler shop or performance shop or other machine shop or what?
If anyone knows some recommendations out here in norcal that'd be great too

 

go check out http://www.magnumforce.com they located in around the 408 area, they do all kinds of race fabrications and stuff like that give they a call maybe they can help you out. If not you could always buy mandrel bend and then get a muffler shop to fabricate one for you.
