I will answer your question 100% right in the following sentences.

First I will explain that I have the Tein HA on my GSR. Now you should know the discontinued Tein HA's are for the ITR only.

Hmmm fishy huh?
Well as a matter of fact, GSR and ITRs have different rear lower control arms (LCA).

If you want your friend to be able to use your coils then I suggest you guys swap out rear LCAs....but that will leave you to use non-ITR shocks, which I'm sure you don't want to do.

Another option is for you to suggest to your friend to go get some rear ITR LCAs. They sell for around 120ish or lower if you find a really great deal.
