why does my car sound like it has stock cams/////
ok i figured out that i have stage 3 crower cams but the engine sounds like they are stock cams when i got it tunned that the dyno went flat at 180 it didnt keep climbing the tunners said i had stock ones when i just checked and ran the part # through crower.com and they came up as stage three cams
where did you check the part # off of? cams themselves? are you running a stock airbox? if so that would quiet the cams down.

I have stage 1 (skunks) on my car, I was always wondering why they were so quite. I had the stock air box, I just put in a CAI and good god damn !! its like 10 times louder.

cams don't really affect the way the car "sounds" more of how it idles and runs

You need to tell us more about your set up such as cam gear settings, timing etc.

You need to tell us more about your set up such as cam gear settings, timing etc.

ok my point is that when they tunned the motor theey said that u can tell when acar has aftermarket cams from the dyno graph and they said i have stock cams i got the part # off the cams themselves i just want to know if ineed to get my motor rebuilt to get its full power cuz i my leakdown test was bad

I didn't see anything in your mod list about headwork (pnp), what fuel management you're running, what timing is set at, what plugs you are running, what size intank fuel pump, what size injectors, etc...? Those numbers look about right if all you truly have is what you wrote above... I think you're expectations were just set a little too high, especially if you're on pump gas...

310cc rc injectors not shure about pnp i bought the shell with half tank so dont know if it has 93 octane ngk plugs i dont know what my timming was set at i wasnt there when they tunned it (intercrew)

yeah i know hondata is better but ive seen 200+ motors tunned with vafc thats all i could afford for know oh and before when the motor was in the other car it was tunned with vafc
THis is obvious, you don't throw aftermarket cams in a car, then leave them without adjusting the timing, or having it tuned. It's not an external bolt on, don't treat it that way.

that is 20% loss in the cylinders...isnt that bad? when I did mine, the guy I borrowed the tester from said that wasnt good and needed a rebuild (luckily mine was good)

so your gonna sue the guy even though you knew the engine was used, and you knew it was probably beat on? good luck getting that to hold up in court. doesnt ebay even have a little thing about caveat emptor at the bottom of their auctions or something.
