Going to get flamed, but I'm curious.. (wheel choice related)
I have a black, '98 GS-R and wondering which wheels you'd go with.
The only reason I'm not sold on the Rota's, is because I don't want to hurt resale of the car if/when I sell her.

yes those are my only choices. currently running OEM Blades. i'm not looking to increase my resale value, but i surely don't want to hurt it if i decide to sell my Blades and pick-up a set of Slipstreams.

If those are your only choices then I would say keep the blades and paint them gunmetal or nearly flat black (matte black) and leave a silver "wannabe" lip.
You can always strip down the paint and polish the blades and maybe increase its resale value.
BLACK is sexy =P.

why not buy some slips and keep your blades to use as backup/winter wheels? if its a money issue (ie trading blades for slips, etc), i would probably get the slips and when time comes to sell your car, buy another set of blades

Don't sell your blades. If you really want a dark colored wheel, paint the blades gunmetal.

Painting your blades will drop the resale just as much as putting rotas on.
If you want silver wheels, keep the blades.
If you want another color(and less weight), get some rotas.
Dont worry so much about resale, enjoy your car while you've got it.

NOT TRUE.
You can always use a paint stripper to remove the old paint. Wet sand a little and polish that biznatch! Will look better than original silver.
