JDM GSR Identification
If the block is stamped B18C without 1 that means it's a JDM GSR right? I tried searching but way too many responses came up when I typed in JDM GSR. Are there any other ways too tell?
It is a JDM motor. Those motors typically don't have any numbers stamped after the "C." FYI: a GSR doesn't exist in Japan. It's counterpart would be either the SiR or SiR-G.
It is a JDM GSR ... and as far as I know, they do exist in Japan

Sorry forgot to mention the whole SIR teg but what I mean is how would Identify it it's not a type R the manifolds different. So that would mean if stamped b18c that it would have to be a "JDM GSR". Are there any other b18c without numbers that are not type R or "GSR" none to my knowledge right?
the sir-g (gsr) is stamped with b18c but the intake manifold curves down sort of and it has a black valve cover. the type r also is stamped with b18c but the manifold curves up and has a red valve cover
.those are all the the visual things i think

All models of the Integra had the B18C engine and suspension (ex: Type R) in common. There was a slight change to the ECU in 1995. There is also the differentiation of headlight style and trim/features level.

i thought SIR is a hatch with the "gsr" engine, sir-g is the dc2 with "gsr" engine & type r front head lights" and si vtec is the dc2 with 94-97 front end... am i right?

si-vtec has the 94-97 front end correct but those years were liek 92-93 only
also its not the type r front end its is the dc2 front end, with an exception the sir-g has chromed housing headlights and type r has black housing.
and a SIR is a hatch yes but i dont know what engine
