i assume you're talking about the 'inside' as in the inner portion of the wheel (not the portion the tire covers up)...its not really necessary in my opinion. i painted my wheels graphite gray from silver, and you cant even see the original color
Just do like one coat on the inner side.....take you time and put it on lightly! otherwise it will run. but yea from my experience from painting my friends rims....i would do like 3 coats on outside.

It's kinda pointless to paint the inside of the wheel, unless you spend HOURS cleaning the inside surfaces. From my experiences, it is extremely hard, at least on my wheels, to get all the dirt and grime off the inside. Even using Castrol Super Clean, little chunks of road junk still are left stuck in there. If you don't get it 100% clean then don't bother, because painting over a dirty surface is a waste of time.
these are the rims
i know these are old styles lol
but yah they were 65 bucks only
i rather roll on these than steelies since i needed tires

enkei rs-e 2
16x7
the inside i got pretty clean with aircarft remover and some other ones...
i plan on painting 1 light coat inside first
then if it drips onto the face ill sand it out then do the face of the rim so its the best side

just look at your picture of the wheels right now, the insides arent that visible. what patrick is true, the insides get dirty anyways, so painting doesn't really help much. i would only try to do the insides if you have leftover paint.
