Default HELP!!! Swap from hell...D series swappers plz

Car-1988 CRX
Motor-D16y7

Problem- Crank Pully
I am putting everything back together on the car and it's time to put the crank pully on(the D15 pully.) I put the pully over the snout of the crankshaft and it won't go on!!! The hole in the pully is too small.

I would use the D16 pully, but it has three ridges in it for the alternator belt (D15 has only 2) and the diamater is different. Do I need an EF Si pully? What gives?

Thanks in advance.

use your stock alternator and buy a belt for the d16y7. but you have to cut it make it fit the alternator pulley. It will make some noise but its hardly notice able.

You mean cut the belt? I'm assuming the width of it since the y7 belt will have 1 extra groove.
