d16a6 into 86-87 crx si?
the integra d16a1 swaps into an 86-87 civic/crx and i was wondering what it would take to swap the a6 into the same car... would the mounts be the same?
Mounts are different for an A6 engine. If you are going to change the mounts might as well go with B-series.
However, the A1 swap is direct bolt in with the ECU and while your at it...the brake and suspension set up too!

More specifically, the 86-87 Teg d16a1s bolt in and plug in. 88-89 d16a1 will bolt in, but will not plug in so easily. Quite a bit of rewiring in necessary to convert to electronic ignition timing advance...
This should help a bit...

i have "heard" (not seen) that the A1 tranny bolts to the A6 engine...this would make the A6 swap more of a reality withonly one mount to worry about.
