hey guys, sorry for asking stupid questions but i have had a 2000 civic dx with a jdm 2nd gen b16, type R cams, JG IM, AEM CA, DCsport header, Greddy cat back, ACT stage 2 clutch, B&M s.s, and some other goodies. but i just finished school and landed a real job and my parents wanted me to get into something that was more professional( i did as well) so they put a nice down payment if i got out of the civic. so i got a 2002 Black 4dr Accord V6 EX. (pw, pl, YES!!) well its got some pick up, but its not like my civic and i believe it has 200hp and 195 ft tq. with all the new cars comming out there are some 4 bangers 05 altimas that almost have as much power. i was wondering if there is anything i can do to that motor to make it faster without making it louder?

P.S whats the name of my motor dont know it.

 

i guess not too many people have V6's cause all i am reading on is 4 bangers

 

sorry, most ppl dont even consider the V6 cuz it doesnt come in a manual transmission

small nitrous, kn pop filter, apexi WS catback will sound stock until WOT, I think there is a gude head package... not much else.

 

yeah i didnt think there was much to do and it does suck having an auto sometimes, but it is my daily driver and traffic sucks where i live but i know i dont want to drop too much money into it cause i want to get an S2k in a few yrs and keep the accord as my daily, but right now i have those dual muffs switched to magnaflow but am i wrong or is there a third muff, and if there is would it make more hp if i took it out and then swapped out the intake? i know some cars need that back presure but im not sure on that v6 and i would hate to lose hp

 

leave it alone and drive it till it craps out man. that thing is brand new. why mess it up? the more you mod, the more you'll have to work on it till the car eventually dies
