Default Quick question... Turbo connected to the slow bone..

I have the stock engine f22a or something .. (4th gen) and i was told that a turbo would damage the engine... now i seen 1 picture on cardomain with a custom setup with turbo connected to the header...

would it wreck the engine if i installed a turbo ?

if not , what type of turbos are safe to use with a 224,000... mile engine?

But its not a quick answer...NTM its been covered a lot.

First and foremost you have to understand how boost works; do a compression check on your current engine.

There are no KNOWN manifold that I know of for the f22a but a lot of people use 1G dsm manifold with 14B turbo OR t25. 14B is capable of more boost verus the t25. Tuning is the best way to have your engine hold together as long as possible.

There is your short answer.
