crx clutch onto a eg cable transmission

crx clutch onto a eg cable transmission
would this work? if i took a stage3 clutch/flywheel and put it on an EG hydro transmission? i need to know for a friend who has an eg and is about to buy my sohc zc vtec swap for his car.
