my gauges work and dont work?

my gauges work and dont work?
i have the reverse glow gauges they came with my car but within the last month or so they have been quiting out on me while im driving, they just stop working, is the the shitty design or what can i check to see whats making it do this? ive checked fuses and connections and **** but i dont see anything wrong
