Brake light out
On my girlfriends 2001 Accord coupe I replaced the brakelight bulb on the righthand side because the light on the cluster said that a brakelight was out. After replacing the bulb, there was still the same problem no brake light on the passenger side only. Are there any common problems related to this?
Thanks

I got the same problem in my Accord '90 LX. Also the right side tail/brake light & the middle brake light didn't come out. Anything wrong with the fuse (but I can't locate that for tail/brake light) or the brake pedal sensor?

Check the wires & plugs around that taillight cluster. Including the grounds. If it's not nearby, you might have to get your multi-meter & follow some wiring harnesses until you find the open-circuit.

Before you go ripping a load of stuff out. Remove the bulb from the affected socket again. Take a pencil with a thin cloth over the eraser end. Clean out the water proofer from inside of the socket then reinstall the bulb and try again. This waterproofer is installed at the factory and looks like a pastey mustard. Mnay times they over do it and it gets all over the contacts or contact points of the socket.
I had the same problem with my '91 Accord when I changed the seals round the tail lights. None of the brake lights worked after I put it all back together. I eventually found it was the connecters that plug into the tail lights... try cleaning the contacts on these.
