ITR Ride Height vs. Other Integra's Ride Heights
The reason i ask this question is because of lowering springs. I'm thinking of ordering some Tein Springs, and they say they lower 2.5" in front and 1.7" in rear, this is probably for regular non Type R integra's, so i'm trying to figure out how much they would lower my car from stock
? Thanks.
? Thanks.
just searched, and couldn't find any pics...all i need to know is how much lower the ITR is than other Integra's, that's all.
And yes, i searched for the answer to the question...I believe i saw someone post that it was about 1inch lower stock, but i wanted to confirm, that's all.

This one is the correct answer. (That's about 0.6 inch.)

My thought was this:
The OE Non R spring is Xinches long
The 2.5inch lower spring is X-2.5" long
and the OE R spring is X-.6" long...
Thus, the difference between the Lowering spring and OE R spring is (X-.6)-(X-2.5)=1.9??? Is this logic correct?

yes.. what I meant was if you buy 2.5" lower springs and put them on a R, those same springs on a LS would be the same height as the R.
just search for the spring that you are about to purchase and see if others have it and posted it up..

Have the tein springs installed on my car.
To be completely honest if you really dont know type R's very good you probably
wouldnt be able to tell its lowered. Probably lowered it about an inch total.
And your theory about it lowering a regular integra lower then a type r is correct.
PM me if you have any other questions.

The ITR is 15mm lower than other integras, so if you buy springs that lower a GSR 25mm (1") then they will only lower an ITR 10mm more than it currently is. the opposite applies if you put, say 35mm lowering springs meant for an ITR into a GSR, then they will lower it 15+35mm=50mm, as happened to me with my last teg, i forgot that the ITR was lower and ended up having to change the springs for regular integra ones as it was too low on the ITR springs.
