my new cam setup... would you get it?
Looking at price and quality does this seem to be a good setup to go with for a DD with some autocrossing?
Jun III cams $475 each
Jun springs $315
fidanza 5 bolt cam gears - $175 for the set
Portflow Ti retainers ~$175 (not sure on the price, or whether to get these or the crowers)
I have a VAFC on the way, and soon after I get these parts I'll be getting a ported and polished head from a friend, as well as an OBD1 ecu. Does this sound good to you guys?

portflow Ti retainers should be $160 max. Call Tom at portflow to get better pricing.
I dunno anything about the fidanza cam gears either... I like their flywheels though. Sakai recommended skunk 2 cam gears to me. They work and are inexpensive...
Remember that jun 3's can only go 1.5 degrees before valve to piston contact...
sounds good to me! Should be good for some nice power.

i have the same setup just about, installing everything in two weeks. jun3's, jun springs, portflow retainers, went with skunk 2 gears, spoon headgasket, arp head bolts, comptec valves.
arp head bolts, comptec valves.
