Be cautious of the term "cover" in Florida... If the "cover" is above ground the roof's bound to get blown off and the walls will fall in on the car!
Instead... Go wrap the R in some plastic wrap (like movers use), did a big hole and put the car in the hole and then burry it. Should be safely covered there and wrapped up good enough to stay nice and dry untill it's safe to come out.

To dig a big enough hole... just use a backhoe from the nearest construction site.

Seriously though... I hope and wish for everyone there to be safe and sound!

I just talked to my Dad (lives in Ft. Pierce). They may have to leave their home (sailboat) behind and come back to Wisconsin. They just got back to FL from being up here for 2.5 months.

Actually no - there are currently drought conditions in the Pac NW

We haven't much rain in the last 5 months.

True, but we had a **** load of rain last week. But its back to being in the mid 80s now.
