swapping tranny?

Default swapping tranny?

on a scale of 1-10.. ten being hardest.. how hard is to replace a tranny? ive never done it before so i would like to know.. btw im not sure if its the tranny yet might just be might clutch cuz my car deoesnt run when i put it in gear.. im hoping its my clutch but i want to know how hard it is to remove a tranny?

It's not that hard took me 3 hours tops. on the 1 to 10 scale I would say a 4.5 good luck man.

if you got 2 nice jacks and some air tools its a breeze to take off. its also nice to have big buff asian friends to hold up the tranny while they bolt up everything

its not hard. I took off the whole engine and tranny in less than 3 hrs. so im guessing to change it like 2 hrs. by yourself with regular tools.

my friend recently took his trans out of his coupe and it was his first time and it wasn't that hard it took him a 2-3 hours

If you have access to air tools, job is EASY as ****. Don't forget to have a torque wrench and proper sequences for bolts.

Yeah. Thats a 20 minute job though. Pop the axle nuts, the 2 nuts holding the LCA and the steering arm to the hub and then slide it out. Not a big deal at all.

everything is just common sense in a way. for first timer, will take alittle while. im skinny and i can hold up a tranny pretty ez.
