Default Distance between Cat Conveter to Resonator?

sup all, and sorry all....i know this topic comes up a lot...and i searched but information wasn't what im looking for so plz help me out here

I have my setup in my room right now, header (2.5outlet) + cat (16long) + resonator (16" long) + piping they're all 2.5 in/out until muffler

well i haven't put them on my car yet...so i would like to get ur suggestion

My question is:

how far should the Resonator should i place after Cat converter to gain maximum benificial in term of sound reduction and power gain?

or it doesn't matter how far the resonater located after the converter?

any suggestion will be appreciated

yeah...no cat makes your exhuast a little louder, but not like crazy loud.

if you ran no cat with no resinator, it would be hella loud.

ill tell you that i gained about 8whp with no cat. if your gsr is turbo'ed, it will give you even higher gains.
