mini parts question.......

Default mini parts question.......

im looking to do a mini me swap on my 90 CRX si and i was woundering where i could get a d16z6 head intake manifold and distributer or a d16y8 head intake manifold and distributer for pretty cheap and if i use the y8 parts is that still obd1?? or obd2?? will the y8 give me more power or are they about the same or what??

You have to tell us what ur doing with ur wiring. Are you staying obd0 and using an rpm activated switch, are u swaping to obd1? Get the y8 head, intake, dizzy, and all that bullshit. Make sure to get a y8/z6 timing belt. If your swapping to obd1 then u can use all the sensors and the dizzy from the y8, just like its the z6. If ur staying obd0 then just use ur stock a6 dizzy and have fun mounting it, but its not hard to do.

a6 dizzy bolts straight onto y8 head like stock. z6 is the odd ball dizzy mounting.
