Default 5-6 Grand to Spend..

recently my civic was totaled and i got a fat check from my insurance for $4400 and plan on taking out a 1-2grand loan...

been lookin some eclipses/nissans/tegras/civics/preludes and cant seem to put my finger on wut i want..i hate Hatches and 2 seaters for some reason..dunno y

i want to have a quick and somewhat nice lookin ride..

heh yeah im picky but heh wut can u say.. help me out yall give me some opinions..wud be appreciated..

in my opinion,

1) dont take out a loan that you dont need to;

2) Buy an older car but in good shape.

3) Work your @$$ off and swap it out later or build it up.

4) Dont listen to me and use those $4400 and just go put a down payment on a Mitsubishi Evo or a Subaru STi.

I like the last choice!

get a crx that not falling apart. who cares about the appearance as long as it runs and wont break while ur driving. put a B in it then boost.

Id say look for a SI then. if u wanna go fast a Light hatch is the way to go.

since you dont like hatches and judging by what you stated that you wanted, i would say find a cheap 93 prelude vtec.

to me they look good and they are fast enough (to me) stock.

crx's are not ugly at all, they are gorgeous but anyway, i say if you want original styling get a clean 240 swap an sr20det, or do a 92-95 civic 4 dr and swap a b series.
