Default CRX with D16ya Si head

I'm posting for a friend, he has a 1990 Crx Si w/ a d16y6 head. He wants to get an Cold Air Intake should he get one for the d16y6 head (93 si) or for the 1990 Crx Si, i'm leaning towards the crx because the bends on the intake for civic aren't the same for the crx engine bay? If anyone could answer it would be much appreaciated.

Thanks guys!

Um, the 92-95 civic si engine is the D16Z6. There is no such engine as a D16Y6. There's a D16Y8, the 96-00 Civic Si engine. Anyways, get the CAI for the crx. The later civic intakes won't clear the stock battery.
