Haha welcome to honda-tech, watch your step or you might get own3d!!! What they are trying to say is that low 11's in an all motor car usually consists of A LOT of hard work and dedication. Money is a big factor, but not the biggest Knowledge, and knowing what works what with what is what is key. Even if you have gobs of horse power you have to beable to get it to the ground, that consists of building the tranny, and most important of all wich a lot of people tend to forget about is suspsension and chasis setup, So be sure that you READ a lot, and pay attention to what people are doing on here, some may come off as ******** or what not, but thats because they have been at it for so long, and its hard to explain the same thing over and over again for many years. Oh yah, low 11's usually=race gas, and big displacement. Even if this is done in a "street car" the car will be barely streetable, so say goodbye to all of the creature comforts of your car is you plan on building a street car monster. I could type all day, so ill stop now.

TUNING IS A HUGE FACTOR!!!!

Browse the Drag Racing Forum-lots of good info there. Good luck on 11's.

sohc NON vtec w/ 400 shot of juice....lol... jk...

hitting 11s is definitely not something easy if you dont know much about these motors. Do some research on this site and see what people are using and what suits your wallet best

Having a car that is in the 11s or 12s and still be streetable is just about impossible.

I disagree, i have a couple friends with just 85mm bore, and stock stroke, 12.5:1 pistons with head work on pumped gas running high 11's in street trim, power to weight ratio is good tho, light *** crx's but still street cars.
