*flame suit on* have you ever seen itb's with nitrous? :o
That's the r0cker's silly question of the day.
No, I'm not trying to do it but I'm just wondering if someone, somewhere, has ever tried it.....
Let's use the toda set for example since it has the injectors before the throttle plates. You could use some NOSzle's to spray the nitrous and fuel.....
Tune could be hondata or AEM EMS, etc...
There's no reason it couldn't be done - and less likelihood of explosion if there is a backup of the nitrous into the intake manifold...

click on the sig and post a reply in that thread, or pm him.
now back to the topic, i think that not a whole lot of dragracers, use itb's cause imo theres alot of aftermaket, intake manifold out there that are good for drag racing, and a whole lot cheaper than any good itb's.
but your idea is not bad, i think it can be done.the closest i have seen to that set-up is a dual sideraft carbs+ nos. backin the days.

Wouldent you just use a wet system? sorry Im not a nitrous expert by anymeans, but from what i understand of a "wet" set up is that it combines fuel and nitrous at the same time and gives more linear power?...im sure some one will correct me if im wrong

afaik.
dry system= nos only, one nozzle usually placed on the intake track, before the t/b
wet single fogger= one nozzle shoots both fuel and nos, usually placed on the intake track, before the t/b
direct port= each cyl. has a nozzle that shoots both fuel and noz. usually place on the manifold by the head
i would imagine the sytem used on itb's, would be a direct port.

There's a guy around my area that has a black 99 hatch running a built ITR motor with ITB's and word is nitrous as well with hondata two step launch control.
Very quick car. I've never seen under the hood so I can't say for sure but I don't see why it wouldn't work well if properly tuned.

I might get flamed for this, but did any of you watch MTVs true life, I'm a street racer episode?
Greg, I believe was his name, drove the blue RHD GSR. It had ITBs and a Direct Port nitrous system.
Aim the jets at the Throttle Plates, from the firewall.
