Default Trying to figure out brake pad size

Okay, I'm too lazy to call the dealership, it's not in my shop manual, and the guys in the EF/Del Sol forum are no help unless it deals with a turbo, engine swap, or "I broke my car cuz i fucked with the computer, what should I do?"

I've looked all over, and can't find a definitive pad size for my 95 Civic EX Coupe (non-ABS) for the front pads. I'm trying to buy racing pads online, but am unsure of the pad size (usually a D code). My Integra's are a D617. I don't think the Civ's are the same size, unless you have the ABS, which I don't. Any help? Thanks.

I looked there, RJ, cuz I'm thinking about trying out the new XP10's, but there's 3 different pad numbers for the Civic - All 90-03. I guess I have to pony up and just call them, huh? Damn I hate being lazy.

should be D621.i don't still have the box from the last time i bought pads,so i can't say that for sure.
i went through hell the last time i got pads for my 94 EX non-ABS coupe.the big brake civics obviously use a different pad from the small brake Civics.BUT,i always thought that all the big brake cars(including Integras and ABS civics)used the same caliper and pads.apparently they don't even though the disc diameter is the same.from what i can tell, the ABS Civics and all 94+ Integra(ABS or not)use the same pad, which is different pad from the non-ABS Civic EX.
when i was trying to get pads(Metal Masters)and had to deal with the inbred employee at the local Adance,i finally just got pads for the ABS EX,since i knew the small brake pads wouldn't work, and he was telling me it was one or the other.i can confirm that the ABS EX pads DO NOT fit.for ***** and giggles,i pulled the pads off one side of my DX hatch, and they DID NOT fit my non-ABS EX.the only other car i could find that shared a part number with the 92-95 non-ABS EX Civic was the Del Sol VTEC.

Thanks, Chris. I've sent a letter to the guys at Carbotech for help, so we'll see what they say. Maybe I should just swing by the Honda dealership on the way home from work tomorrow.

Edit: so, after cross referencing the number, it appears to be that that's what's listed for the 93-97 Del Sol Vtec. They don't list it as matching the Coupe, but it won't suprise me that they're the same brakes. Can anyone confirm this? I just hate to buy the wrong pad, and have to deal with sending them back. Or am I being a wuss. I'm sure that's going to open a can of worms.

I have an excellent book that is almost never wrong on Hondas (unless you've done a swap or something).

You should call me...

The pad size is D273. My commuter is a '94 EX coupe with drums in the rear. In other words, it is a 'non-abs' car. You are correct that it is the same app as the del Sol.

ABS (rear disc) cars use the D617.

If you ever decide to try Cobalt Frictions, give me a call. I stock most Honda apps.
