I have the 88 HF and when i changed the clutch the it wouldnt take the HF clutch. I had to use the SI clutch. So i figured i had an SI clutch. But now i swapped in the jdm d15b and the tranny is killing my acceleration. I can hang with my friends gsr in first gear but as soon as i hit second he'll pull 3 car lengths ahead. It cant be an SI tranny. It says L3-1092907 on it. Can anybody help me?

if it drops really low when you shift into 2nd its most likely a hf trans. go get a si now.

 

Its a 5 speed.

 

Ya i want to get the SI tranny. Today i had a problem and to make a long story short I need new axles. When i get the SI tranny should i get SI axles to. Also does anybody know where to get these.
