I have a 1991 Prelude 2.0SI. When the weather is hot, the A/C cuts out and the red light goes on the A/C button. If I cycle it off and on again it works, but will stop working after a few minutes. I have to keep cycling it on and off for about 30 minutes until it will stay working. It rarely does this when the weather is under 90 out. I had the coolant checked and it is not leaking and is full of Freon. Fans are working ok as well. Could this be a bad sensor? I can sort of hear the compressor making some bearing noises, but that may just be anything.
