like the title says, where is a good place to buy a USDM ITR motor?? or well . a good question is to be specific about why i want a USDM ITR motor instead of JDM ITR
if i swapped a 96+ JDM ITR motor into any 92-95 body, and it was all stock (minus bolt -on's i suppose) would it pass cali smog (for any cali residents) cuz if so, then it doenst matter if its USDM/JDM ITR to me. .
but im not sure, i was guess no... so thats why i wanted a USDM motor . . that'll pass for sure . .
so yeah, basically not sure / / ???

You can get JDM engines to pass the BAR certification process, as long as there was a USDM counterpart, so a JDM B18C-R would be equivalent to a USDM B18c5.
As long as the motor is newer than the car and is hooked up like it'd be in a USDM ITR (obd2, etc), then you should have no problems.
