how do I remove the rsx gauge needles?
I was searching on Clubrsx to see how to do this, but couldnt find out how. I want to take apart the cluster, but I dont want to break the needles....how do they come off?
Try using a fork, slip the prongs underneath the needles and then push down on handle. From what I've heard, those are hard to get off without breaking them.
they are hard to get off without "changing" the needles, but it can be glued back with a little hot glue no problem. They're plastic welded very weakly... as long as you don't physically damage the outside shell it doesn't hurt the needles at all to reweld them later with a dab of superglue.
If you've never taken them off before, you'll probably break those welds, it's fine, just pull straight up, the fork idea sounds good as long as the prongs are far enough apart.
I did a DIY on howto swap the cluster LEDs to red... search for my name on there, there should be pics also. Ocelaris
