He uses the ZC ones so I'm guessing you could use A6 rods?
If so, then you could also use LS rods (notching and rubusing required).

I havent wired vtec up yet, i was gonna let the motor break in a little before i hook it up, but i will be using a msd rpm activated switch pn:8950, make sure you buy the correct pills for your setup

if you know anything, then you would know that a sohc vtec head has the spark plugs in the from and the vtec solenoid is under the breather filter

Looks good!
Mainly cause that's what my engine looks like

keep us posted on those pistons with that head. Also do you think you'll have any problems if you decided to run a higher lift cam with those pistons?

ok your right Now that i think about it, i thought all VTEC head's had the VETC solonad on the side like the DOHCs do but come to think about it, i never seen a VETC SOHC head and your right also about the plug wires.

yes it can be run on 93 octane....you could probablly squezze at the most a 55 shot with that kind of compression but your gonna have lots of tuning to do and probablly run some race gas. well they say 5% power increase for each point over stock.....so take a stock d16z6 125hp put zc pistons that bumps around 3 points of compression so around a 18hp gain i come out with flywheel of coarse. now im not saying your guranteed 18hp with them but ill find out when i put mine in.

that high of compression sounds to high for me and a daily driven car...

would be fun though...

I agree why cut short now and give up? You obviously did this for more power so why not get the most?
