Pulling out the carpet from a 4th Gen. How??
Hey all,
I just pulled out all of the seats and trim to get the carpet out. The only problem that I see now is getting the carpet under the stereo area out. Is there an easy way to do this??
I want to steam clean the carpet preferably out of the car. I am installing Dynamat too. It would be a lot easier if the carpet was out so I can clean the floor board.
Thanks,
Andy

i dont know about getting it out but you can by new carpet for about 120 or so, ive seen ads in the backs of magazines and they did make it for preludes, i dont remember where but i am sure you could find it
the easiest way is to just cut a line up the center of the part that's under the center console... otherwise, you'll end up taking the entire center console out and half of the dash as well to get the support brace to get out of the way... when you replace the carpet, you'll never see that it's been cut. done it twice already to replace carpet. hth
