Bolt-ons for 1989 SEI?
I recently acquired my brother's 1989 Accord SEI. It is a good reliable car. But it could use a little more pep. Now I'm not looking for performance on a par with my Civic/CRX swaps. Just a little more pop, particularly in the middle to top end of the rev range. The problem? All of the big guys (AEM, DC, Greddy, etc.) no longer make parts for this car (DC Sport made a header as recently as 5-6 years ago). Do you know if there is anyone out there who still makes parts for this car (specifically, i/h/e and maybe a mild cam)? Or will I probably have to go used?
intake... there should be some generics out there. just get one off ebay if you can find one, and replace the air filter w/ a K&N.
header... i think pacesetter still has one available. i've heard, but don't have experience with them, that they tend to rust through over time. i could be wrong...
exhaust... you're best bet would be to go custom w/ a magnaflow muffler or something of the sort.
cam... none available that i know of.

Interestingly, further research has yielded several cams. Web makes three different stages (all regrinds) and Gude makes one stage (unknown if it is new, but doubtful). I would seriously rather stay away from Pacesetter and crush bent exhaust systems, though. And if worse comes to worse, a cold air intake can always be fabricated from mandrel bends. An exhaust could be, too. But the cost would be considerable.
