Default Throttle body

Is 75mm too big for NA?? Been told it is by a guy i know. Just wanna see if i can get any gains bolting it on cos i can get hold of one.
Will be tuned with Uberdata.

75mm would be extreme overkill unless youve got a completely built engine.

My setup -
B18C6 (UKDM ITR) motor
Spoon Headgasket
Spoon cams
Skunk2 springs and retainers
DC stainless
Apexi N1
AEM CAI

The guy is saying he's not sure how big it is now. He said he'll measure it when he gets a chance. It's supposed to bo 5mm bigger than Spoon spec.

Forget about a 75mm TB for your setup. You will lose intake air velocity and power. If you had a 2.0l + motor and big cams, then you might want to consider something that big, maybe...

Just had confirmation, it's 65mm at the butterfly. Not 75mm. Should i go for it cos it's pretty cheap.

65mm = yes 75mm = no. You would probably lose too much low end torque with the 75mm. The more work done to the motor the larger you can go.
