I want to put an SI rear sway bar on my DX
Ok i have searched and read most of the threads about putting a 89-91 sway bar on a 88 DX. I have crawled up under my car and my holes are not threaded where the stock brackets are supposed to go. Now...my question is before I buy a oem sway bar with the brackets even if I were to weld or tap and rethread them to the car....do I have to tap my 88 LCA's as well? I do not want 89-91 LCAs. Does the 88 si crx have holes threaded in them already for a sway bar? Do you guys think I will have any problems with the OEM bar hitting my ebay lower tie bar? I would just get an ST bar but I dont got that kinda funds
i welded my brackets to the frame and used LCR's that were for the sway bar. If you can rig up something where the LCR's are secure to the sway bar endlinks then it should work the same, but make sure it isn't bindin or anything b/c that'd be an unpleasant suprise
