Timing, exhaust, intake
I have a 97 gsr
What are the negative effects of turning up my timing?
What type of exhaust has a deep growl and provides max hp?
I am not ready to put on a cold air intake (just cause i have to drive this car for the next 5 or more years and my streets are easily flooded) what type of intake works best.

put timing up to 18 degrees, or as high as u can by turnin the distributor towards the firewall, and driving it til u hear pinging then back it off...
then exhaust get about any catback system, apexi n1, greddy, ect....
intakes if u have floods and the floods are past your bumper, stay away from cold air intakes, get a short ram or just modify your stock intake for an extenision and add a K&N filter.
