HElp with the charging system
Hello i own a 96 accord v6 2.7. Yesterday my battery light came on while sitten traffic. I have a volt guage in the car and the needle dropped to like 9-10 volts.
I hit the gas the volts would go up to 12 volts and the battery light goes away. The minute you let your foot of the gas the light comes back. After driving a few minutes the car charges back to normal outta no where. The volt guage would read between 12-14 volts. Then like 15 min later the volts drop and the light comes on. The only thing i can think of is the alternator. Any second opinions would help allot . thanks

most likely your alternator. i've seen a lot of dying alternators that like to stop working, then work perfectly again, and then stop working again, repeatedly, until it finally just stops working all together.
