Squeeking noise At first gear!
I don't know what, but when i put it in first gear, release clutch to catching point, add little gas, there is a sqeeking noise that really bothers me.... anyone experience this?
not everytime, maybe 80% of the time.

my guess would be there's a mouse behind ur gas pedal, so when u gas u heard squeeking noises
solution, stomp that gas pedal until the mouse is dead and the squeeking will be gone

I noticed this tonight in the drive thru (gs-r though) and am curious as to what the hell it was, to me it sounded like a squeaky mount or something.
speaking of squeeks - my clutch pedal is driving me F'n crazy... It creaks every time I disengage it after it's warmed up.
Do I need to remove the tranny to grease the clutch release fork? (#3 in the below diagram)
And will this solve my creaky clutch problem?
(bone stock clutch with ~86K miles on it)

Grease the spings on the clucth pedal assembly.
It could also be your clutch disk. I had a 4 puck ACT disk that squeaked while slowly engaging into 1st gear.
If the problem is'nt solved sell your car its a lemon.

tried that already, no luck... I greased the springs and hinge assembly behind the clutch pedal a while ago with white lithium grease (I guess I could try it again).
Eluder200K and I traced the sound back to the tranny - it's definately coming from the release fork. Tried lubing the ball pivot thing (under the boot) with grease, but that didn't seem to help either.
Strange thing is that it only squeaks after it's warmed up. I guess I'll re-lube the pedal assembly tonight and see if it goes away.
Stoopid car.

What kind of clutch do you have? I know with a 4 or 6 puck clutch they usually make a squeek noise when you dis engage the clutch in 1st gear. My last ITR did the exact same thing and I know of many other people with "puck" clutches that do the same thing. I'm thinking it could be the release bearing making noise from where the clutch engages so hard?

there is air in ur clutch line, just bleed the fluid and it will go away.

now THAT'S a helpful suggestion - thank you!
I thought we bled the line completely when we changed the fluid, but we may have missed some bubbles or something... Will check it out tonight.

why would you need a speed bleeder for that. It's all downhill & will flow out on its own. Just open the valve & watch your fluid container...easy-sneezy!!
yeah, don't know how we could have missed air in the line, but I will check it again.
Eluder seems to think the spring in the pivot fork is the culprit...
(#5 in below pic)

anyone else have experience with this?

if your clutch is *REALLY* old then it could be your clutch going. Near the very end of my prelude's first clutch's life (~195k) it made a really bad squeeking noise most of the time i engaged it.
