I have a used 2.5" test pipe for sale. It is 17.5" long and made from aluminized steel. It does not have an O2 bung.

will this fit JDM 4-1 header collector?
is it 2.5" in/out?

i have a 96 hatch with type r swap and regular exhaust. will this connect the exhaust to the stock type r header?

 

Stick, yes it will fit the JDM 4-1 and it is 2.5" in/out.

lagingtorpe, I will have to look into that because I am not sure at the moment.

 

I just wanted to add that I helped Greg prep this, and I used a Dremel to clean and smooth the interior of the inlet and outlet.

As for the fitment questions, unfortunately we don't have specific information on all of the combinations of header/exhausts this will fit. This test pipe is approximately the same length as a USDM Integra cat (17.5"). It has a full 2.5" inlet, so it should bolt-up to any JDM-sized header. The outlet is also 2.5", and will bolt to almost any Integra B-pipe with a traditional 3-bolt flange. However, the length may or may not be correct for a particular application, and we haven't done any test-fitting.

I encourage everyone to measure their current setup, or research their specific needs in order to be certain this piece will be the correct length.

 

Padawan's advice is probably best, that you measure your current setup to make sure it will fit. I wouldn't want to tell you it will, then have you get it and realize you can't use it.
