I paid 100 bucks for the throttle body and 60 bucks for the intake manifold So I'm stock between a rock and a hard place. I was thinking about getting the skunk2 manifold but when I spoke to the person at the machine shop he said it it would be cheaper to just match my stock manifold so here I'm am
the inlet on the skunk2 and gsr is the same. If your TB is only going to be bored to 64mm then you can pretty much DIY with a dremal or something. But most people go with the S2 for the GSR to elimnate the secondary. If you dont plan to elimnate the secondary, then have them port the gsr.

you should just port match the intake manifold yourself with a dremel, its really easy, i did this to my manifold the first time i used a dremel and came out a nice 2mm over. or get the skunk2 mani but then you gotta change your p72 ecu to a p28 chipped, but in the end the sk2/p28 combo will show better numbers.

I really didn't know what to do, I did a search not to much info on this topic. I was planning on getting a skunk2 manifold but I though maybe boring out the stock one would be just fine. You see my goal is to get 210 or even 215 to the wheels that's it.
If I was to put a skunk2 manifold wouldn't that hurt low end proformance because it's elimnating the secondaries?

i start with the dremel #408 then finish it with #432.
or use #952 then finish it off with #432. get them at home depot.
takes pretty long, but patience is your friend cause its a free hp mod.
i have always done this myself to my manifolds and also good to port match your head also if you have it out.

well I just finshed up with installing the valetrain, I didn't do it. I just added itr valves, crower springs and retainers also bored out the throttle body. My next thing is to get a set of cams and do something with the manifold.
But back to doing the manifold I'll give it a shot, but how far over can I go .3 over or less then that...
