The bracket that holds the glove compartment door closed on my 1982 Honda Accord is broken. It looks like it was a metal bar (held by molded plastic sides)that the door lock latch grabbed on to so the door would stay shut. The local Honda partsman says that there is no replacement for that specific part - I have to buy an entire new dashboard! Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.
