how can i beef up my crx without doin an engine swap

i was wondering how i can sup up my 87 crx without swapping the engines but i have a hard finding perfomance parts. all i find is just swap ur engine. i want to have a quick 1.5

Intake, header, Exhaust, Nitrous, ECU, Tuning

$1200 and you smack on a nice 80 whp

Gut it. and do I/H/E. But personally i Would put the 89 Teg Motor in its bolt in.

You can make the 1.5 fly its just how do you want to do it, all motor or forced induction?
Dont listen to people who say you need to swap.
Some guy in the all motor page made a 1.4l first gen do low 13's.

if you dont wanna swap becasue of cost then you cant make a d15 "fast"...sure there will be a couple hardcore guys but im sure theyve spend thousands...but if thats your plan then I sincerly apologize.
