buying an ls swap...is it too good to be true????
hey i'm buying an ls swap i have and civic hatch and am wondering if this is too fishy. guy is asking $350 for a 94 ls swap with tranny and axles, engine has 120k miles on it.
is this too many miles for an engine, i want to go ls turbo and am wondering if a simple rebuild to the block will be enough???
basically is there anything i can do to make this a reliable daily driver????
thanks in advance

Wow, that's a STEAL ... hehe
120K, it depends on how the motor was treated by the previous owner(s). Do a compression test. If the numbers turn out good, then go ahead and boost it.
Or if you are in doubt, just replace the pistons/rods/bearings yourself and you got a pretty solid block.
