Default Car Misfires after being pushed hard

whats up guys, my car will misfire after being pushed hard. I have replaced the cap and rotor of the distributor and fuel filter. The fuel pressure is 35psi when i first start the car. it is a 1997 dx civic with a 19t greddy kit boosting only 7psion a 12:! fmu and missing link, any ideas? The car will only misfire like the second or third time after turning it off from when it was pushed to redline through 3 gears

also, it only started misfiring after one of the injector wires came loose (the red wire - second injector wire) and possibly could have grounded out somewhere) do you think it coule be a faulty wiring harness or possibly a messed up ecu?

I had a similar thing happen. I had lost one of the retaining clips for an injector pigtail and it kept rattling loose at high RPMs.

seriously sounds like plugs...try new ones and a step colder along with bringing the gap gap down a bit also (.024-.026)

ok this is getting ridiculous, on my way to school i didnt take it past 4k rpm, just kept it at 3k going 70 and it started to misfire at about the 20th mile at 3k, it misfired for about 1 minute going uphill then stopped. Everytime i have autozone check the code it is a misfire on cylinder 2 (the cylinder that had the messed up soldering) do you think teh soldering coming loose could have messed up my ecu?

if you have had problems with that particular cylinder's wiring, I'm wondering if it was repaired properly...it seems a bit of a coincedence.

checked the wiring, but ill recheck again to be sure, the wiring is pretty tight on there (stretch to get the connector to the injector)

IMO
the msising link isnt working and ur ecu is seeing some boost
causing it to jump on limp mode

i have boosted more than 11 psi sometimes and the VAFC hack doesnt take enough away and have cause me to limp without a CEL... and with turning engine on off a few times takes care of it

I would try and replace the injector plug and extend the wires so they are not so tight ..... you might have a wire broken inside the insulation that you can not see .

There should always be some slack in any piece of wire - hopefully the new harnes solves your problems.
