Hey all.

Im about to get my hands on a jdm ef crx sir and im looking to do a brake pad upgrade. I cannot seem to find any brake pads made for the sir's abs brakes. Could I use abs pads for a 93+ crx(del sol) sir?

 

Did Oz never get a domestic market CRX ?

If you try: http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Automotive.html They do a set for the EDM CRX VTEC which fit the SiR fine. I have had some on mine.

 

yes Australia got domestic CRX's but due to laws the sir has just been made available, so im getting one , its way easier than modding.

 

i would think the braking system for the sir is the same as the si/dx/hf at least the si. with that said just buy some si pads....

does the SIR really have ABS??? i didn't think it did.

 

Yeah it does. Well, early ones didnt, but most do.
Its a 14 yr old system tho. Personally I never liked it, so I plan on removing most of it. Weight.

The SiR rear pads are the same as the VTEC and 16V models which I would assume are the same as the USDM Si.

I can't guarantee anything, but I would suggest to try pads from a '90-93 Integra with ABS.

JDM SiRs used 10.3" front brakes, while the USDM Si used 9.5" fronts.
