pls help...my rpm gauge doesnt work .......
hi....i just did a ls/vtec into my crx....for some reason the rpm doesnt work...setup is 92 block, 98 gsr head, jdm s1 tranny, pr3 w/ mugen chipped.....also my idle is low..how can i raise up my idle? thanks everyone for reading my post...
i'm not sure if does the jdm b16a cable tranny 89-91 s1 is the tranny code...if its electrical can i just used mine from my old crx tranny?
Ok, well your stock cluster has a thick black cable which runs from the back of your cluster, through the firewall to the tranny. If your JDM S1 tranny uses an elctrical VSS, which I think they all do, you will either need to install a JDM sir cluster, or swap the VSS like you mentioned. Have a look at your tranny, facing the fire wall, it will be on the right hand side of the rear tranny mount( i think).
good luck
good luck
