DIY: How to turn your civc into a lawnmower
Step 1: Purchase cheap Ebay header such as one of these. ->(Thats a quality focuz brand) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33631
Step 2: Install cheap Ebay header
Step 3: Clean up and throw away leftover bolts.
...and voila, your civic now sounds like a lawnmower.
I needed to replace my old stock header, it was broken don't ask. This Focuz brand was cheaper then stock so i bought it. I don't know if i didn't line-up the flanges right when i installed it, but it sounds like crap now. It sounds like one really pissed off Briggs & Straton.

Did you use a new gasket? What is the Deal if it lined up it should work. Unless the flange was warped. where is the leak coming from? Might that be why it sounds like a tractor, or aren't there any leaks.
used new gasket connecting the 2 pieces of manifold togather, but not a new one connecting it to the Cat. Maybe that was where I goofed. I don't know where the leak is coming from, but I bet that there has to be one. Otherwise it wouldn't sound the way it does.
