well ive noticed that my R isnt handling like it did when i first got it....i noticed when looking underneath the car that the lower bar's bolts were stripped? its kind of just hanging on there not really that tight. it may be from the 455holes that installed my exhaust. but would that effect my handling? i also put on lowering springs which may be the problem too but i thought lowering the center of gravity would help the car grip better around turns.....any thoughts? thanx for any help

 

That will definitely affect the handling.

lowering doesn't do jack if it means your shocks can't accomodate. it's all about synergy of all the parts in the suspension that makes an R what it is.

 

thanx thats what i figured what was wrong...do you think my control arms could be damaged if so how could i tell?

 

check the threads... see if there are any first if so if there is any damage to them. then go down to the shop that put your exhaust on and kick there azz. hopefully they just left them loose and nothing is damaged!
