Default will this suspension setup work???

i have the suspension setup off of a 90 civic, and i was wondering if it would work on an 86 crx?? meaning i have the shocks and springs. thanks

i don't think so, if i remember right, the back should work but the front is torsion bars and shocks, no springs, i had a friend that tried to do it, it bounces really bad down the road.

yeah i had a feeling that would be the case, but the rears work huh? well just cut my cost in half, does anyone know where i can get a cheep set of shocks all the way around for my 86 crx? or if anyone has a used set that will work as well

Shocks are the last place you want to go "cheap" on. I bought a set of Monroe shocks for my CRX and less than a week later one of them literally broke in half in a hard corner!!

The link above is the least expensive shock I would ever put on any of my cars. I would prefer Konis if budget allows.
