Default tire size and suspension setup , for best handling.

I have the stock suspension , and stock wheelies (14"/5").
I was going to upgrade both someday , but today I almost crash my car , and god knows what would happen to me (where I live the temps go over 100 degrees and the car is extremly unstable at noon).

what would you recommend ?

note that I don't really care about smooth driving . Although it's my daily drive, every weekend , I have my fun at some country roads near my house.

budget?
shocks/springs or coilovers can run you anywhere from 500-1000+

were you looking @ rims/tires? or just new tires?

It's all personal preference.

Get some adjustable shocks.
Adjustable coilovers.

(of your choice)

and the widest / smallest tires you can.

how much are you looking to spend, is the question. We could tell you a million different combo's but we need a ball park estimate on your budget

budget is $1000-1400 for shocks, coilovers

right now I have the stock wheels 14"/5"
depending on the tires I will buy rims (usually is the other way around ) .

suggest me shocks and coilovers brands , and tire sizes

note: the new rims will be 15" , just to fill the wheel gap of the car .

well get some 15/7in rims and go with a yokohama advan tire. I love the traction I get out of it. And for your suspension setup go with the TEIN Flex system. It's what I run on my car. Best suspension to me. I upgraded them from the TEIN SS. So I could run the EDFC. oh yeah tire size that I like is 215/45ZR16. Its what I run so you will just be getting 215/45ZR15. Have fun.

I looked up Tein ss and Tein flex , I don't get the difference between them

Quote: "TEIN Type FLEX damper kit was designed to provide driving comfort and sports performance with its full-length adjustment system."

about the rims and tires I will go with the sizes you said
15"/7" , tire 215/45zr15

EDIT: discard my first question , I see that Tein flex supports EDFC , so you can control the suspension from inside the car

215/45-15 is a little TOO small IMHO, and I think tire choices are very limited in that size. Most people w/ 15x7 wheels run 205/50-15.

I would go 16" tho as long as ur upgrading

if you want 15" I believe GSR Blades would be good

The setup that Im using, which I love is KYB AGX, Tanabe GF210 springs, Ingalls camber kit, and numbers strut bars etc. For wheels I have a set of 16x7 with Parada Spec 2 205/50/16, and then on stock LS mesh's I have Yokohama ES-100 205/50/15. I like the Parada's the best for handling. But remember to everyman his own.
